The aim of the article was to analyze the main scientific and practical provisions with respect to the aspects of ensuring the implementation of the law enforcement function of the state under the legal regime of martial law in Ukraine. The object of the analysis were the social relations arising in the sphere of its implementation under the legal regime of martial law. The diversity of the posed object of research gave rise to the use of a wide range of methods, namely: analysis, logical, generalization, interpretation, system and structural, comparative and legal method. It was concluded that the most essential mechanism for the functioning of complicated legal regimes for the state is the provision of human and citizens' rights and freedoms (performance of law enforcement functions) regardless of varying circumstances, situations and factors. In practical terms, the rights violated as a result of the martial law regime must be restored by the state, which includes a set of relevant actions and means. The implementation aspects of the State's law enforcement function are defined as the main vectors that are grouped according to common characteristics.

The purpose of the article was to consider the main development trends in certain elements of the criminal justice system, which were integrated due to Russia's large-scale attack on the sovereign territories of Ukraine. The subject of the article is the institution of the reform of the Ukrainian criminal justice system. The legal bases ensuring the functioning of criminal justice institutions (in particular, the investigative bodies) are examined and the corresponding conceptual and categorical apparatus is analyzed. A review of selected elements of the criminal justice system during the war is conducted. The influence and significance of Ukraine's acquisition of EU candidate membership status on the functioning of certain elements of the criminal justice system is clarified. Finally, the content and essence of the main requirements of the EU to Ukraine, which can be the basis for conducting negotiations on the issue of Ukraine's final accession to the organization, are characterized. In the conclusions, directions and methods of reforming certain elements of the criminal justice system in the conditions of large-scale invasion are described.

The subject matter of the study is the genesis and historical stages of the formation of the right of citizens to assemble peacefully, without weapons, to hold rallies, marches and demonstrations. Research results. The article, based on the analyzed materials, carried out a theoretical and legal analysis of the main elements of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of research, which is related to the essence and content of the right to peaceful assembly and its general importance in the system of legal values; the historical origins are outlined and the genesis of the formation of the constitutional right of citizens to assemble peacefully, without weapons and to hold meetings, rallies, marches and demonstrations is clarified; on the basis of generalization of scientific positions and norms of the legislation of Ukraine, and also foreign countries, including various historical periods, concerning legal regulation of the outlined question; complex theoretical and practical conclusions on the outlined problems are substantiated, which in our opinion can fragmentally influence the functioning of the relevant institution and the settlement of the main problems of its law enforcement. The practical significance of the studied question is that as a result of the outlined characteristic features of historical stages and genesis of formation of the corresponding institute the further scientific working out of problematic questions of its functioning, and also optimization of the basic problematic questions seems possible.
